Job description

Job Title: Content Operations Program Consultant / Program Manager II

Position Type: 1-Year Contract (Extension based on performance and business needs)

Position Summary

The Content Operations Program Consultant serves as the operational lead across core digital execution channels—including ISA, Banner Ads, Mobile/Patient Services Apps, Digital Asset Management (DAM), and Web. This role is responsible for standing up and leading a Program/Project Management Office (PMO), driving process optimization, establishing governance frameworks, and managing continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will bridge technical content ecosystems with strategic execution, streamlining end-to-end asset transformation, MLR review routing, channel deployments, Workfront alignment, and enterprise AI adoption.

Key Responsibilities
  • PMO Leadership & Governance: Stand up and lead the Content Operations PMO; establish intake practices, operating cadences, execution frameworks, SOPs, and governance models for near-term delivery and multi-year roadmaps (1-5 year planning).
  • End-to-End Content Operations: Oversee the operational lifecycle of taking creative assets, transforming them into channel-specific digital formats, and coordinating automated or manual deployment across ISA, Patient Services App, Banners, and DAM.
  • Process Harmonization & Tooling: Drive milestone-level process and data-element harmonization in Workfront; build tracking dashboards and executive reporting using Smartsheet, Workfront, and Microsoft 365.
  • System & Ecosystem Coordination: Facilitate cross-functional workflows across connected content platforms, including Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), DAM publishers, ISA automation pipelines, and emerging workflow platforms (e.g., thebrief.ai).
  • AI Adoption & Governance: Support internal AI enablement initiatives, identifying opportunities to leverage AI tools for workflow automation, tool development, and operational efficiency.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Reviews: Support content routing through Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) processes, ensuring adherence to compliance audits and operational quality standards.
  • Cross-Functional & Sister-Team Alignment: Partner with cross-functional operational leads (e.g., Email Ops, Web Teams) and senior leadership to scale best practices and operational frameworks across wider enterprise teams.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
  • Core Experience: 5+ years of combined experience in Content Operations, Program/Project Management, PMO Leadership, and Business Operations.
  • Content Operations Background: Hands-on understanding of how creative assets are transformed into digital channel assets and deployed across digital ecosystems.
  • Workfront & Tool Proficiency: Deep experience utilizing Workfront (specifically aligning data elements and project milestones), Smartsheet, and Microsoft 365 for reporting, capacity planning, and backlog tracking.
  • Technical Savviness: Strong conceptual understanding of connected ecosystems (DAM, CMS/AEM, automated deployment pipelines) and practical familiarity with AI tools and adoption frameworks.
  • Stakeholder Management: Proven track record of interacting with senior directorship, managing cross-functional dependencies, resolving roadblocks, and scaling operational processes.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Operations, Project Management, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Industry Background: Prior experience within the Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Healthcare, or heavily regulated industry (highly preferred to enable fast onboarding with MLR and compliance workflows).
  • Certifications: PMP, Lean Six Sigma, Agile, Scrum, or related project management/process improvement credentials.
  • Platform Exposure: Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and automated publishing tools.
