Job summary

Wheeler Clinic is seeking a Program Manager to lead the operations of our evidence-based community justice services in Middletown, CT. You will supervise staff, ensure efficient procedures, and drive program goals while maintaining high standards of service delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and three years of supervisory experience, with preference for experience in substance use, mental health, and criminal justice settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; three years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with substance use, mental health and/or intervention programs in a criminal justice setting required.
• Must display strong work habits, ability to work in a team, effective written and verbal communication, and commitment to personal and program growth.

Responsibilities

• Maintain program goals and ensure staff compliance with organizational and funder standards.
• Determine staffing needs; hire and train staff; supervise and evaluate performance.
• Develop annual program budget and establish fiscal priorities.
• Provide program coverage as needed and support client services.
• Continuously improve internal processes and implement changes to maximize efficiency.
