Job summary

The Wheeler Clinic in New Haven, CT seeks a Program Manager to lead programmatic and administrative functions, supervise clinical staff, oversee the program budget, and maintain fidelity to the clinical model. You will manage referrals, admissions, discharges, and collaborate with partners to support youth and families.

Qualifications include a Master’s in a relevant field or a Doctoral degree, plus 3 years of behavioral health experience with children and families.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or doctoral degree required.
• Connecticut LCSW/LPC/LMFT or Psychologist license required.
• At least 3 years of behavioral health experience with children, adolescents and families.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical oversight and leadership to programs within the department.
• Provides supervision and crisis support to staff.
• Assists with budget development and manages financial performance to support initiatives.
• Recruits staff and addresses retention and HR policy.
• Collaborates with funders and community providers to improve services for youth and families.
• Ensures program compliance with data collection, licensing, and reporting requirements.
• Leads weekly staff meetings and provides supervision to clinicians and case managers.
