Job summary

The Arc Jefferson - St. Lawrence is seeking a qualified supervisor to oversee Community Based Employment Programs in Jefferson and St. Lawrence counties.

The role includes managing program operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving growth of Community Based Employment and Prevocational Services for People We Support. Applicants should meet education/experience requirements and hold a NYS driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in rehabilitation counseling, social work, human services, psychology, business, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in workforce development, vocational rehabilitation, or supported employment programs with 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Or a high school diploma with 7 years of relevant experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Valid NYS Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the management and operations of Community Based Employment Programs and Community Prevocational Services in both counties.
• Assist the Director of Vocational Services in the efficient and cost‑effective operation of all work Community Based Employment Programs.
• Drive growth of Community Based Employment and Prevocational Services for People We Support.
• Ensure accurate and prompt billing for department services and maximize funding utilization.
• Monitor employment services and compliance with ACCES-VR, OPWDD, PATHWAY, ETP, and related programs.
• Ensure program criteria, outcomes, stakeholder satisfaction and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor monthly financial statements and report findings to leadership.
• Represent the Agency in the community and participate on community boards related to employment.
• Complete annual performance evaluations and address corrective actions as needed.
• Participate in management meetings and support other duties as assigned.
