Job summary

The Arc Jefferson - St. Lawrence is seeking a Residential Supervisor to oversee Direct Support Professionals, provide coaching, and ensure adherence to agency policies in residences serving people with developmental disabilities in Jefferson and St. Lawrence counties.

The role requires supervisory experience, relevant certifications, and ability to travel. A sign-on bonus is offered and the position supports a residential program with flexible hours to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Human Services or related field or a high school diploma/equivalency with relevant supervisory experience.
• One year of experience with developmentally disabled individuals if holding an associates degree; two years if only HS diploma.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct Direct Support Professionals.
• Train and supervise staff to ensure habilitative services.
• Assist residents with self-care, domestic skills, socialization, and other designated areas.
• Ensure residence operations comply with agency policies and governing bodies.
• Document program issues and expedite filings.
• Participate in staff meetings and trainings.
• Travel to Jefferson and St. Lawrence counties as needed.
