Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field.
• Five years of directly related experience, including two years of supervisory experience.
• Form 700: disclosure of outside investments, real property interests, income and business positions.
• Demonstrates knowledge of professional/technical principles and practices, and ability to lead and manage projects.
• Attention to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in policies, programs, and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic initiatives for the Children and Youth Services Master Plan and City Council priorities.
• Lead cross-departmental and cross-sector collaboration among City departments, community-based organizations, schools, and partners.
• Support implementation of the City's No Wrong Door system of care by strengthening coordination and reducing barriers.
• Prepare City Council memoranda, committee reports, executive briefings, presentations, and policy recommendations.
• Manage budgets, contracts, grant agreements, consultant agreements, and interagency partnerships.
• Design and monitor performance measures, evaluate program outcomes and use data for continuous improvement.
• Coordinate strategic planning and facilitate meetings with diverse stakeholders.
• Advance diversity, equity, inclusion through policies, programs, and engagement.
• Represent the City before community groups, elected officials, partners, and regional collaboratives.
• Support special projects and executive initiatives as assigned.
