Job summary

State of Utah – DCFS Brigham City Office is seeking a Program Manager (CPS Team) to lead a dedicated group of child welfare professionals and advance safety, well-being and permanency for children.

You will set program goals, supervise staff, coach on field practice, and coordinate with partners while meeting required on-call duties and in-office expectations. This role requires strong leadership and knowledge of SAFE and relevant laws.

Qualifications

• Valid Utah driver’s license.
• Proven ability to interact professionally with all levels of management, manage diversified workloads, navigate crisis situations, and communicate clearly.
• Strong working knowledge of SAFE, community/agency resources, and applicable child welfare laws, rules, and Practice Guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of child welfare professionals with hiring, workload, delegation, training, performance evaluation, and corrective actions.
• Provide field coaching and ongoing mentorship to foster growth and adherence to best practices.
• Use data metrics to measure team performance and conduct QA reviews for quality service delivery.
• Monitor operations, programs and practices to meet agency goals.
• Coordinate activities with private providers, law enforcement, and other governmental entities as required.
• Perform 24-hour on-call services as required by management.
