Job summary

FamilyCore in Illinois seeks aSenior Child Welfare Manager to supervise a team of caseworkers and ensure high-quality services in alignment with DCFS rules and contracts.

The role leads program development, oversees budgets, and fosters a culture of Leaders Grow Leaders, Leaders Get Measurable Results, and Leaders Shape FamilyCore Culture, while maintaining compliance and promoting FamilyCore services.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work or related field required.
• 4–6 years of experience in Child Welfare or related field.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Child Welfare Leadership licensure or ability to obtain licensure.

Responsibilities

• Ensure clients receive high-quality services in accordance with DCFS rules and contracts.
• Provide clinical direction and guidance to staff.
• Review and approve service plans, assign cases and attend court as needed.
• Oversee fiscal management and contract compliance for the department.
• Build relationships with DCFS to promote FamilyCore services.
• Provide at least twice monthly formal supervision to staff.
