Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Program Manager II – Capacity Expansion to lead major capacity-expansion initiatives across its manufacturing footprint. You will guide cross-functional teams from concept through startup, delivering greenfield and brownfield projects, product line transfers, and network optimization.

The role requires a minimum of eight years in project management, construction startup experience, and PMP-level expertise, with relocation flexibility and up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in project management methodologies, processes, and tools.
• Minimum 3 years of experience involving construction, modification, transition, and startup of industrial facilities.
• PMP certification or ability to obtain within one year of hire.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration for this position.

Responsibilities

• Lead Zero Incident Safety Culture for construction, installation, and startup.
• Utilize Eaton’s PROLaunch stage gate process.
• Lead cross-functional project teams through ambiguity with defined structure and objectives.
• Be accountable for scope and successful execution within schedule, cost, and quality commitments.
• Maintain project business cases and compliance with CAR and asset capitalization processes.
• Control project spending, forecast accurately, and monitor contingencies.
• Create and maintain detailed schedules using Microsoft Project and manage interdependencies.
• Identify risks, implement mitigations, and resolve critical issues.
• Ensure successful transition from project execution to operational readiness, including startup and production ramp-up.
