Job summary

Colorado Energy Office (CEO) seeks a collaborative leader to drive high-impact programs advancing clean energy and building decarbonization in Colorado. The role emphasizes cross-team coordination, vendor management, and program development under the Building Decarbonization Enterprise (BDEF).

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement with at least one in-office day per week, a starting salary range of $70,012.80 to $90,001.60 annually, and a focus on equity, diversity, and inclusion as core

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of professional experience; or a bachelor’s degree in a related field and three years of experience.
• Experience managing programs and/or contractors with government budgets, vendors, deliverables, and reporting.
• Excellent written, oral communication skills and public presentation skills.
• Highly motivated, detail oriented, and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior staff to design and scale high-impact programs, integrating workforce development and educational initiatives.
• Gather community feedback to ensure programs are accessible and address market needs.
• Work with vendors and contractors to ensure programs are delivered on time and within budget.
• Develop new programs through the Building Decarbonization Enterprise to address market gaps and building types.
• Periodically evaluate programs and propose revisions to align with market needs.
