Job summary

Raytheon Technologies is seeking a Program Manager for the Advanced Early Warning & Reconnaissance Systems (AEWRS) portfolio in El Segundo, CA. You will lead cross-functional teams across the lifecycle, set strategy, and deliver on-time, within budget, and to customer expectations.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance and substantial experience in managing complex defense programs, with a focus on risk, cost, and schedule performance.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
• Leadership experience leading transition to production, production and/or sustainment programs
• Experience managing cost, schedule, and performance for programs with use of program management tools such as Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Risk and Opportunity Management, Scope Board, or similar business processes
• Experience leading cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Accountability for profit and loss, program execution, and EAC inputs
• Set program priorities, resolve conflicts and barriers, support internal and external reviews with leadership and the customer(s)
• Coordinate and align interactions, dependencies, and transactions directly with customer(s)
• Provide leadership and direction to a cross functional team
• Understand and represent customer needs to leadership
• Build and maintain excellent relationships with the customer counterparts
• Responsible for managing risk, opportunity, cost, quality and schedule performance
• Support domestic travel as needed
