Job summary

Peoplesarc in Sayville, NY is seeking a Programs Supervisor to lead daily services for individuals supported, ensure adherence to policies, and drive quality across the program.

You will review timesheets, support staff and Leads, manage goals and plans, coordinate safety, budgeting, community partnerships, and reporting, with 3+ years working with developmental disabilities and 1+ year supervisory experience.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 3+ years experience supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • 1+ year supervisory experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Able to maintain professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality with high emotional intelligence.
  • Valid NYSDL.

Responsibilities

  • Participates in interview process, hiring decisions, and ensuring staff are accountable to policies and procedures.
  • Reviews and approves timesheets for accuracy.
  • Oversees monitoring of service quality and supervision of the program.
  • Manages implementation of goals and staff actions per Individual Habilitation Plans and Staff Action Plans.
  • Supports program Leads and ensures appropriate daily activity implementation.
  • Oversees safety and wellbeing of individuals supported and safeguarding of their rights.

Job description

Pay or shift range: $26.73 USD to $27.73 USD. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

Description
  • Participates in interview process, hiring decisions, and ensuring all staff is held accountable to all policies and procedures.
  • Reviews and approves timesheets to ensure accuracy.
  • Oversees with monitoring quality of services and supervision of the program.
  • Manages the implementation of goals and staff actions as indicated in Individual Habilitation Plans and Staff Action Plans.
  • Supports program Leads, responsible for ensuring the appropriate implementation of daily activities.
  • Oversees program safety and wellbeing of people supported as well as ensuring the safeguarding of their rights.
  • Ensures compliance with OPWDD regulations.
  • Prepares reports and other informational materials as required.
  • Reviews eVero billing daily and rectifies errors and submits billing.
  • Maintains regular/ongoing communication with the Assistant Director regarding significant issues concerning individuals we support, staff and program.
  • Provides coverage of all supports for program as needed.
  • Assists individuals we support who have toileting needs.
  • Assists with transferring or lifting of individuals we support.
  • Transports people supported using agency vehicle, after proper training.
  • Ensures building integrity, reports maintenance issues in a timely manner.
  • Builds community partnerships and opportunities.
  • Administers quarterly fire drills.
  • Manages program budget and supply orders.
  • Supports the admission process.
