Program Manager 3 – Aerospace Manufacturing

Overview
The Program Manager 3 will provide strategic and tactical leadership to execute all aspects of product build, including fabrication and assembly, within a restricted aerospace program. The role requires oversight of cost, schedule, and technical performance, as well as contract negotiation, change management, and stakeholder communication.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of product, build, and program execution, including cost, schedule, and technical performance.
- Prepare proposals, business plans, proposal work statements, specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms for the contract.
- Serve as the primary internal contact for program activities and lead program review sessions with the customer on cost, schedule, and performance.
- Interface regularly with the program customer to discuss program status.
- Establish milestones, monitor adherence to master plans and schedules, identify program problems, and obtain solutions.
- Direct the work of employees assigned to the program in technical, manufacturing, and administrative disciplines.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree with 10 years of aerospace, military, or relevant industry experience, OR Master’s Degree with 8 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of 3 years leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Active DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP).
- Willingness to work all shifts, including 2nd shift and 3/10 shift.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing team environment.
- Active Special Program Access (SAP).
- Program management experience in defense or production industry.
- Experience in Manufacturing, Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Global Supply Chain, or Project Management.
- Financial experience with EVMS or similar cost and schedule management systems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with AS9100 quality management system.
- STEM degree.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $193,000.00 – $289,600.00 (base salary; additional compensation may include overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonus, and long‑term incentives for senior positions).
