  • Counseling prospective students and applicants throughout the admissions process by providing guidance on program options, application requirements, admissions policies, and enrollment steps while delivering exceptional customer service.

Department: Bauer Graduate PrfPrograms Salary: 43,000 - 48,900

Description:

  1. Plans and develops procedures for administering a small ormedium-sized department or program.
  2. Oversees program expenditures and ensures adherence tobudget.
  3. Provides guidance to subordinate staff and evaluatesperformance.
  4. May prepare or participate in the creation of abstracts,research reports, funding proposals, operations and proceduremanuals, and other written material and documentation.
  5. Reviews reports of budgets and activities.
  6. Prepares ad hoc reports as needed.
  7. May administer grants and grant-related related communications,scholarships and other operations.
  8. Develops, implements and maintains appropriate policies andprocedures.
  9. May serve as property custodian for the department.
  10. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

This position works in the Office of Graduate and ProfessionalPrograms at the C. T. Bauer College of Business. Successfulcandidates will have the ability to work independently andcollaboratively, manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, andremain flexible and positive in a fast-paced environment. This rolerequires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail,and strong written and verbal communication skills. The successfulcandidate will provide outstanding customer service by effectivelycommunicating with prospective students, applicants, faculty,staff, and external partners, building relationships whileaccurately conveying admissions information and representing thecollege in a professional, responsive, and student-centeredmanner.

Position includes the following responsibilities:

MQ: Education: Requires a thorough understanding of boththeoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical orprofessional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than oneprofessional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normallyobtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree froma college or university or an equivalent in-depth specializedtraining program that is directly related to the type of work beingperformed. Experience: No experience required.
