Program Manager
The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies is seeking a Program Manager to support our government customer. Preferred locations include San Antonio, TX, Falls Church, VA, or remote.
Responsibilities
- Act as the overall lead, manager, and administrator for the contracted effort. Serve as the primary interface with Government program authorities on technical and project issues. Oversee contractor execution of contract requirements.
- Monitor and manage employee performance of assigned tasks.
- Apply analytic techniques to evaluate program objectives.
- Track program status and schedules.
- Report daily task execution to government teams, identify deficiencies, and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate workload and resources across team members.
- Document team member performance and identify skill development needs.
- Participate in meetings and activities as required.
- Serve as intermediary between government and contracting teams, providing task direction and status updates.
- Coordinate work efforts crossing team boundaries and manage task transitions.
- Report onboarding processes and implement policy or process changes as needed.
- Identify trends and deficiencies in technical skills, and prepare monthly review data for management.
- Review and quality check deliverables to ensure they meet requirements and expectations.
- Perform management, technical, or business case analyses.
- Lead updates and creation of process improvement documents and technical data packages.
Minimum Education and Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field with 10 years' experience in the Military Health System.
- Program Management Professional certification or equivalent, obtained within 6 months of employment.
- Lean Six Sigma training within 6 months of contract award, completed within 1 year.
Skills and Experience
- 5-8 years of leadership experience in Military Health System.
- 2 years experience in curriculum development and evaluation.
- 2 years experience in clinical performance metrics deployment.
- Proficiency with SQL and SAS statistical software.
- 3+ years experience in data mining within MHS Data Warehouses.
- Knowledge of advanced statistical concepts and modeling.
- 15 years cost analysis experience.
- Familiarity with Defense Department Data Sources.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and additional software/hardware skills.
Citizenship and Clearance
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Active SECRET security clearance required, with ability to pass a background check.
