Job Description

Preferred location is Orlando, FL, but candidates from across the continental U.S. will be considered with travel flexibility.

You will serve as a Program Manager for the Solid Rocket Motor Product Center (SRM PC) team, leading activities related to design, testing, qualification, and production transition of Lockheed Martin's internally developed Solid Rocket Motors (SRMs). Our team focuses on augmenting the SRM industrial base and achieving key company objectives.

What You Will Be Doing

The SRM PC Program Management Manager (PM) will impact critical objectives by leading activities supporting SRM design, testing, qualification, and production transition. Responsibilities include collaboration with manufacturing and production operations teams across Dallas, Archbald, and Owego to ensure timely delivery of motor subcomponents, and establishing the SRM Energetics Lab in Troy, AL.

Additional duties involve engaging in new business pursuits, proposal responses, and international business collaborations. The position reports to the SRM PC Director and includes responsibilities such as:

• Collaborating with SRM PC Sr PM on project execution and development.
• Overseeing cross-functional teams.
• Managing schedule, technical, and financial performance, including IMS planning, manpower, EV milestones, and spend plans.
• Securing funding through NBAE, Capital, OSCER, and OH cycles.
• Managing risks and opportunities.
• Driving affordability initiatives to meet DTC and AUPC targets.
• Maintaining design and process commonality.
• Developing ROMs for scope estimation.
• Participating in RFIs, RFPs, and white papers.
