Job summary

UIC Government Services and the Bowhead Family of Companies seeks a Program Manager for a new proposal effort to provide personnel, management, supervision, and services to support the AMK-260 Customer Service Center (CSC) Branch.

The role requires coordinating with the CO, COR and MMAC PM to deliver contract requirements and maintain staffing levels while delivering all required reports and meetings on time.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 7+ years of project management or managerial experience.
  • Experience managing federal projects of this magnitude.
  • Working knowledge of Government logistics operations.
  • Strong management, organization and problem solving skills.
  • Experience in IT and Telecommunications operations.
  • PMP certification or equivalent preferred
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels and teams
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment

Overview

Program Manager (MMAC-2026-26219):

Bowhead seeks to network with a Program Manager that will support a newly proposal effort providingall personnel, management, supervision, and other items and services necessary to support the AMK-260 Customer Service Center (CSC) Branch

Responsibilities

Job duties to include but are not limted to:

  • Managing the program for the Contractor.
  • Being the primary point of contact for the CO, COR or MMAC PM to resolve problems under the contract.
  • Designating a contractor representative as acting PM whenever absent and providing adequate notifications to the CO and COR.
  • Ensuring all CDRL reports and other deliverables are delivered timely.
  • Attending meetings pertaining to contract performance as required by the CO.
  • Maintaining appropriate staffing levels and IAW Section 6, Technical Requirements, filling vacancies within the specified timeframes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree is required
  • Seven plus (7+) years of project management or managerial experience in either private industry or the Government.
  • Be highly experienced in management of federal projects of the magnitude of this contract.
  • Have a working knowledge of Government logistics operations.
  • Possess effective management, organization, and problem solving skills.
  • Experience in IT and Telecommunications operations
  • PMP certification or equivalent and experience inpolicies & performance management regarding Section 508 Technology Accessibility and Records /Information Management preferred
  • Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team
Physical Demands
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 to 25 pounds
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
  • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Public Trust level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Public Trust clearance at this location.
