Job description

LS Technologies, a Tetra Tech company, is seeking an experienced Program Manager to provide support for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). As a PM supporting FAA, you will play a vital role in leading and overseeing innovative and impactful projects in the field of aviation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leads the strategy, implementation, and oversight of a large, complex, and multi-disciplinary contract; includes budget planning/execution, schedule maintenance, and risk and opportunity management.
  • Provides oversight and directs the efforts of a cross-functional, geographically dispersed contractor and subcontractor team.
  • Project Planning and Execution - coordinates and manages various programs and project objectives; responsible for the overall delivery of all contract requirements (to include subcontractor deliverables).
  • Adheres to quality control standards and ensures procedures are conducted and reported monthly.
  • Maintains rapport and coordinates with government customers/clients, employees, partners, subcontractors, and Procurement Officials at all levels to ensure efficient and effective contract administration.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of FAA's mission, goals, and project management principles; knowledge and appreciation for FAA culture and best practices is highly desired.
  • Familiarity with FAA contract administration and processes, as well as federal regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Experience leading a contract with a government agency, FAA preferred.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, enabling collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and analytical mindset, with the ability to solve problems, make data-driven decisions, and manage risks and customer expectations effectively.
  • Versatility and Technical Depth - requires a broad range of experience and technical understanding that spans from technical operations to future innovations and emerging technologies associated with the aviation landscape.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or equivalent project or program management certification is highly desired.
  • Must have at least 10 years of PM experience.

Education

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline, business or business marketing degrees also acceptable.
  • PMP preferred.

Location:

  • Some on-site support/Hybrid - DC Area, Atlantic City, NJ, Oklahoma City, OK, etc.

Travel

  • 0 - 30%.
  • Physical requirements:
    • Extended Computer Use: Regular and prolonged periods of working at a computer.
  • Background check: Must be able to pass government public trust investigation.

Compensation (Pay Bands)

Salary at LST is determined by a wide array of factors, such as (but not limited to) education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and is based on full-time, 40-hour/week status.
