Job Description:

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a highly motivated and innovative Program Manager. In this role, the individual will be responsible for the management of programs and a portfolio of products and is accountable for program execution, customer satisfaction, and financial performance. This position will have a direct interface with customers, suppliers, and stakeholder leadership. The role includes responsibility for guiding L3Harris’ employees in their work and influencing them to deliver their best and to act within the L3Harris corporate values. The position is located on-site in Amityville, NY and will report directly to the Manager of Program Management.

Essential Functions:

1. Manage portfolio of product and program production and sustainment
2. Develop and execute project plans, schedules, and budgets
3. Accountable for the cost, schedule, and technical performance requirements of the portfolio through all phases
4. Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and quality to ensure program success
5. Identify and manage risks and issues to ensure delivery
6. Monitor and report program progress to internal and external stakeholders
7. Solve problems with business impact
8. Participate in the preparation of proposals, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contracts
9. Ensure that all resources such as engineering, manpower, production, and facilities are available to support the program
10. Direct the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing, and administrative areas
11. Ensure customer satisfaction, maintaining customer communication, and providing overall management of the customer relationship
12. Occasional travel required

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience; Or, Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience; Or, in lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience

Preferred Additional Skills:

1. Ability to obtain a Clearance
2. Strong data analytics skills
3. Experience managing programs within a DOD or Aerospace environment
4. Solid technical background and strong financial skills
5. Experience working across different business organizations and customer communities
6. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

8. Experience with customer and stakeholder communication
9. Proficient in computer software applications such as Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint

11. Earned Value Management System experience
12. Previous experience managing development programs highly desired
13. PMP or equivalent highly desired

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York State is $79,000-$146,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
