Program Manager, Senior
Hanscom Air Force Base

HX5 is an award-winning provider of engineering, research and development, and technical services to clients such as NASA and the Department of Defense. Founded in 2004, HX5 is a fast-growing veteran- and woman-owned company with locations nationwide.

HX5 is currently seeking a Program Manager to support the FOG Division at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Use qualitative and quantitative techniques for gathering, analyzing, and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of acquisition programs.
  2. Possess knowledge of support activities that assist in assessing program schedules and costs, recommend solutions, and explore alternative courses of action.
  3. Effectively communicate orally and in writing, providing quality acquisition and program documentation (briefings, documents, plans, etc.).
  4. Plan, research, analyze, and assess system acquisition related to development, production, and deployment of weapons systems and associated equipment, and formulate strategies to meet cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
  5. Support and develop acquisition reports, including statutory and regulatory reports (e.g., DAES, MAR).
  6. Support program management reviews, senior-level meetings, and IMP/IMS reviews.
  7. Develop and present program status briefings and acquisition task schedules to senior management.
Education and Experience:
  • Master's or Doctorate Degree in a related field with at least 10 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in the DoD.
  • OR Bachelor's Degree with at least 12 years of relevant experience, including 5 in the DoD.
  • OR 15 years of related experience with proper certifications, including 8 in the DoD.
Other Position Requirements:
  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Residency.
  • Ability to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
  • Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance by the date of hire.
  • Willingness to travel, including by air.
