SHR Talent is partnering with an established manufacturing organization to identify a Program Manager to join its growing team.

This individual will serve as a key liaison between customers and internal operations, managing complex, specification-driven programs from initial award through final delivery. The Program Manager will work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and external vendors to ensure customer requirements are understood and executed successfully.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage assigned customer programs from award through production and delivery.
• Serve as a primary point of contact between customers and internal teams.
• Review and interpret customer requirements, specifications, drawings, and contractual documentation.
• Coordinate activities across engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and outside vendors.
• Manage program schedules, budgets, resources, milestones, and deliverables.
• Proactively identify risks, delays, or execution challenges and coordinate appropriate solutions.
• Maintain consistent communication with customers regarding program status and requirements.
• Develop strong, long-term relationships with assigned customers.
• Partner with technical resources to address complex product or manufacturing requirements.
• Monitor program performance and provide regular updates to leadership.
• Ensure customer requirements and applicable quality standards are consistently met.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, execution, and overall program performance.

Ideal Candidate

• Experience in program management, project management, engineering, manufacturing, operations, or a related technical environment.
• Strong technical or mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand complex, specification-driven products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate across technical, operational, and customer-facing teams.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, hands-on mentality with the ability to identify gaps and take ownership of solutions.
• Ability to build credibility and long-term relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• PMP certification is a plus but not required.
• Experience within a manufacturing or technical environment preferred.
• Experience managing complex customer programs or projects is beneficial.
• Familiarity with project management tools and Microsoft Office.
