Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational management of multiple active IT projects
• Report directly to the IT Director and align project execution with leadership priorities
• Manage projects involving application migrations, data warehouse updates, and reporting remediation
• Break ongoing work into clear milestones, deliverables, and execution plans
• Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules and plans
• Coordinate work across business analysts, developers, SMEs, and external consultants
• Mentor business analysts on documentation standards and project discipline
• Facilitate project meetings using Microsoft Teams
• Schedule, track, and manage meetings and communications using Microsoft Outlook
• Identify risks, dependencies, and decision points early and drive resolution
• Escalate issues appropriately to maintain delivery timelines
• Ensure all project documentation meets audit and compliance requirements
• Enforce consistent project management standards across the project portfolio
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Position Overview:

The Franklin County Auditor’s Office is seeking a senior-levelProgram Manager / IT Project Managerto take ownership of a portfolio of in-flight technology projects following a tax accounting system migration. This role is responsible for stabilizing active projects, enforcing delivery discipline, and driving predictable execution across approximately ten application migration initiatives. The role requires minimal ramp-up time and strong experience rescuing or stabilizing complex IT projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day operational management of multiple active IT projects

Required Skills & Experience:

• PMP Certification (Required)
• 5+ years of hands-on IT project management experience

• Demonstrated ability to drive immediate execution with minimal ramp-up

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Outlook
• Excellent organization, documentation, and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
