Job summary

The Franklin County Auditor's Office is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead and stabilize a portfolio of in-flight technology projects following a tax accounting system migration.

Reporting directly to the IT Director, this role will drive execution, structure, and accountability across multiple concurrent initiatives, including application migrations, data warehouse updates, and reporting remediation.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage a portfolio of IT projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience delivering complex IT projects with limited ramp-up time.
• Familiarity with public-sector compliance and audit controls.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day execution of multiple active IT projects.
• Stabilize and drive delivery of in-flight projects supporting application migration (~10 applications).
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with business analysts, developers, SMEs, and external consultants.
• Provide concise status reporting to executive leadership.
• Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and escalation points.
• Mentor business analysts on documentation and project discipline.
• Facilitate project meetings using Microsoft Teams and Outlook.
• Ensure documentation meets audit and compliance standards.
• Reinforce consistent project management practices across the portfolio.
