Job summary

Community Services Group (CSG) in Bethlehem, PA seeks a Full-Time Program Manager to lead and oversee IDD Community Participation Support programs. You will supervise staff, manage operations, ensure safety, and drive service quality in line with company values.

The role requires collaboration with hiring specialists, staff training, budget oversight, and active participation in on-call rotations. A relevant degree with supervisory experience is required.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree with 1 year experience directly with persons with mental illness/ID and 1 year supervisory experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 2 years experience directly with persons with mental illness/ID and 1 year supervisory experience.
  • Associate degree or 60 credit hours with 4 years experience directly with persons with mental illness/ID and 1 year supervisory experience (except in the ICF/MR setting).
  • High school diploma or equivalency with 6 years of experience directly with persons with mental illness/ID and 1 year supervisory experience (except in the ICF/MR setting).
  • Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle to attend trainings, meetings, and transport individuals.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises Program Supervisors, monitors and evaluates employee performance per policies.
  • Collaborates with hiring specialist in interviewing, hiring, orienting, and training supervisors and direct support staff.
  • Directs and ensures effectiveness of program’s daily operations.
  • Ensures health, safety and welfare of individuals in the program.
  • Provides training and oversight related to the program’s Incident Management.
  • Provides training, including Medication Administration Training, as required.
  • Supports Supervisors in managing coverage in the homes.
  • Participates in the company’s on-call system.
  • Promotes inclusion, recovery and community integration for individuals.
  • Facilitates regular staff meetings and ensures communication with management.
  • Ensures implementation of individual program and behavioral plans and activities.
  • Maintains documentation per company/state/federal regulations.
  • Transports individuals for meetings, appointments or activities.
  • Serves as active member of the service team coordinating services.
  • Manages program budgets, petty cash, and financial transactions oversight.
  • Oversees inventory records for company property and individuals’ possessions.
  • Performs duties of Supervisors or Lifesharing Specialists when required.

Summary

At CSG, as Full-Time Program Manager, you will provide leadership and program oversight in the supervision of intellectual and developmental disability (IDD) Community Participation Support program. You will also be responsible for communicating and fostering company values and philosophies as well as general program management. The Program Manager is directly supervised by the Program Director.

Wage Information

Base Rate $23.67/hr. with increase possible based on relevant IDD experience.

Job Description
  • Supervises Program Supervisors, monitors and evaluates employee performance according to company performance management policies and procedures.

  • Directs and ensures effectiveness of program’s daily operations.
  • Ensures the health, safety and welfare of the individuals within the program.
  • Provides training and oversight related to the program’s Incident Management.
  • Provides training, including Medication Administration Training, as required.

  • Enhances quality of the individuals’ lives by promoting inclusion, recovery and integration into the community.

  • Ensures implementation of individual program and behavioral plans and activities.
  • Oversees the maintenance and completion of documentation required by the company, state or federal regulations, etc.
  • Transports individuals in personal or company vehicles for meetings, appointments or community activities.
  • Serves as an active member of the service team in the coordination of services.
  • Accounts for the management of program budgets, petty cash and the oversight of the financial transactions of the individuals.
  • Oversees and maintains records pertaining to inventory, both for company owned property and possessions belonging to individuals, as applicable to the program.
  • Performs job responsibilities of the Program Supervisors directly (Residential and Community Based) or Lifesharing Specialists (Lifesharing), when required.

  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university, 1 year experience working directly with persons with mental illness/intellectual and developmental disabilities and 1 year supervisory experience.
  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, 2 years of experience working directly with persons with mental illness/intellectual and developmental disabilities and 1 year supervisory experience.
  • An associate’s degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university, 4 years of experience working directly with persons with mental illness/intellectual and developmental disabilities and 1 year supervisory experience (except in the ICF/MR setting).
  • High school diploma or equivalency, 6 years of work experience working directly with persons with mental illness/intellectual and developmental disabilities and 1 year supervisory experience (except in the ICF/MR setting).
Additional Requirements Include
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle to attend trainings, meetings, and/or transport individuals to appointments.
