Job summary

Aditi Consulting is seeking a Shipping & Logistics Specialist to support end-to-end reverse logistics and liquidation operations across the U.S. and Canada.

You will ensure returned inventory is inspected and routed to the best resale channels to maximize recovery value, coordinating with vendors and internal teams. Responsibilities include monitoring SLA performance, validating vendor invoices, supporting PO management, and ensuring regulatory compliance for VAT, customs, and Importer of Record

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations, or related field.
  • 3–5+ years of reverse logistics or supply chain experience.
  • Experience with third-party vendors and liquidation partners.
  • Familiarity with U.S. and Canada regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with operational reporting and performance analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end lifecycle of returned and liquidated inventory, including intake, inspection, and disposition.
  • Identify process gaps and implement scalable solutions for U.S. and Canada operations.
  • Coordinate with liquidation vendors to monitor SLA performance and recovery rates.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to pricing strategies and inventory lotting optimization initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S./Canada regulatory requirements including VAT, customs, and IOR processes.
  • Maintain documentation related to VAT, customs, and audit readiness.
  • Review vendor sales reports and perform reconciliations of inventory vs. sales.
  • Validate vendor invoices against terms and pricing structures.
  • Support PO management and accrual tracking; liaise with Finance and AP for payments.
  • Track and report program performance metrics and analyze data for trends and risks.

Summary

The Shipping & Logistics Specialist is responsible for supporting end-to-end reverse logistics and liquidation operations across the U.S. and Canada regions. This role ensures that returned inventory is processed efficiently through a standardized inspection process and routed into the most appropriate resale or liquidation channels to maximize recovery value. The position works closely with external liquidation vendors and internal stakeholders to support operational execution, vendor performance, financial accuracy, and program consistency. This role plays a key part in enabling efficient and scalable reverse logistics operations across international markets. By supporting operational execution, vendor coordination, compliance requirements, and reporting activities, the Shipping & Logistics Specialist contributes directly to cost efficiency, recovery optimization, and the overall success of the liquidation program.

Responsibilities
  • Support the end-to-end lifecycle of returned and liquidated inventory, including intake, inspection, and disposition in accordance with established program standards.
  • Identify process gaps and assist in implementing scalable solutions to improve operational efficiency and consistency across U.S. and Canada operations.
  • Coordinate with liquidation vendors to monitor service level agreement (SLA) performance, including turnaround times, inspection accuracy, and recovery rates.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in partnership with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to liquidation performance improvements by supporting pricing strategies and inventory lotting optimization initiatives.
  • Ensure operational compliance with applicable U.S. and Canada regulatory requirements, including Importer of Record (IOR) processes.
  • Maintain documentation related to VAT, customs, and audit readiness requirements.
  • Review vendor sales reports and perform reconciliations between processed inventory and reported sales activity.
  • Validate vendor invoices against agreed commercial terms and pricing structures.
  • Support purchase order (PO) management and accrual tracking processes.
  • Partner with Finance, Accounting, and Accounts Payable teams to ensure timely and accurate vendor payments.
  • Track and report on program performance metrics and use data to identify trends, risks, and operational issues.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives through analysis of operational and financial performance data.
Education Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations, or a related field preferred.
Experience Requirements
  • 3-5+ years of experience in reverse logistics, supply chain operations, or a related field.
  • Experience working with third-party vendors, liquidation partners, or logistics service providers.
  • Familiarity with U.S. and Canada operational environments and regulatory requirements is preferred.
  • Experience supporting operational reporting, reconciliations, and performance analysis.

Pay Transparency

The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $60.00 - $66.00/hr.

Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
