Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, supply chain, or related field.
• 3 years (or equivalent) of program management or related experience.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing, PCBA, EMS, or System Integration preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Oracle, Jira, Confluence, or similar systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned customer programs and coordinate internal activities to meet requirements.
• Serve as primary program contact for customers and manage day-to-day communications.
• Investigate and resolve customer issues affecting satisfaction.
• Enter data and maintain accurate program information for schedules.
• Prepare and present workbooks, quotes, production schedules, and reports.
• Create ECNs/DEVs and ensure follow-up to completion.
• Launch RFQs in Jira and MRRs in Confluence and coordinate follow-up with internal groups.
• Identify priorities and risks; drive actions aligned with goals.
• Monitor status to address delivery or program risks.
• Collaborate with Eng, SCM, Operations, Quality to resolve issues.
• Escalate matters requiring management involvement.
• Support PMs with engagements and deliverables.
• Present status and recommendations to management and customers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Title: Program Management Specialist

Reports To: VP, Program Management

Department: Program Management

Location: Newark

The PM Specialist manages assigned customer programs and supports the business relationship between Unigen and its customers from NPI through production. This position serves as a primary point of contact for assigned programs, monitors program performance, identifies risks, and drives cross-functional actions to meet customer and business requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage assigned customer programs and coordinate internal activities to meet customer requirements and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Serve as a primary program contact for assigned customers and manage day-to-day customer communication and program deliverables.
• Investigate and resolve customer problems, including late shipments, incorrect billing, rework/RMAs, and other issues that may affect customer satisfaction.
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate program information to support customer activities and manufacturing schedules.
• Prepare, track, analyze, and present customer workbooks, quotes, production schedules, excess inventory reports, Gantt charts, and MS Project schedules.
• Create and submit ECNs/DEVs to Document Control and ensure appropriate follow-up through completion.
• Launch RFQs in Jira and MRRs in Confluence and coordinate required follow-up with internal functional groups.
• Identify program priorities and risks, and drive actions based on customer requirements and company goals.
• Monitor job and material status for assigned customer projects and proactively address potential delivery or program risks.
• Coordinate with Engineering, SCM, Operations, Quality, and other internal functional groups to resolve program issues and meet customer requirements.
• Independently evaluate program issues and determine appropriate actions within established authority, escalating matters that require management involvement.
• Support Program Managers with customer engagements and other program activities while taking ownership of assigned customer programs and deliverables.
• Present program status, risks, issues, and recommendations to management and customers as appropriate.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field preferred.
• 3 years or equivalent relevant experience in program management, program administration, customer service, or a related manufacturing environment.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing, PCBA, EMS, or System Integration preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work across cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
