Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks a Manager Project Management 2 in Roy, UT to support the Sentinel program. You will lead a diverse team in program planning, cost and schedule management, and process improvements while coordinating with executives and cross-functional groups.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance, strong PM skills, EVMS experience, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree with 8 years of related experience, or Master's with 6 years, or equivalent combined experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required at application and ability to obtain SAP approval.
• Demonstrated track record in project management/execution and closeout.
• Firm understanding and application of Earned Value Management System (EVMS).
• Executive presence and comfort in communications at senior levels.
• Experience building strong customer relationships.
• Strong understanding of Active Risk Management portfolios >$50M risk.

Responsabilidades

• Provide horizontal integration across program business units.
• Act as the assignment manager for the PE&O operations organization.
• Serve as liaison with staff, executives, and senior leaders regarding updates and planning.
• Oversee daily operations with senior leaders, manage calendars, correspondence, files, meetings, and facilities.
• Lead SAP access for Executive Leadership, PMO, and Office of Chief Engineers.
• Develop relationships with employees to improve efficiency and responsiveness of operations; help define new strategies.
• Prepare and disseminate communications; act as subject-matter expert and develop action plans.
• Improve processes and optimize procedures for efficiency and productivity.
• Develop and deliver high-level briefings to Program Leadership and customers.
• Ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget; advise on delays, resources, and costs.
• Provide solutions aligned with organizational objectives; identify opportunities for change.
• Navigate ambiguity with systemic approaches to problem solving.
• Build relationships and communicate to ensure accountability across stakeholders.
• Coordinate with PE&O Division Homeroom on needs and task closure (Agile).
• Prepare charts, briefings, and metrics to illustrate program health.
• Act with urgency and ownership of tasks and strategic direction.
• Update project database information from multiple inputs; coordinate SharePoint changes.
