Job summary

Emerson College is seeking a Program Lifecycle Administrator to manage the end-to-end process of launching and sunsetting academic programs. You will advise faculty and leadership, coordinate ASA’s workflows, and maintain documentation and dashboards to support strategic analytics.

You will oversee vendor relationships, onboarding, and the central resource center for program guidance, timelines, and research resources, contributing to a data-driven approach across governance stages.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in academic operations, research support, project coordination, institutional administration, or a related field is required.
  • Higher education experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent workflows, timelines, and stakeholder relationships in a deadline-driven environment is required.
  • Experience with baseline analysis, secondary research, and data gathering in support of analytical functions is required.
  • Experience developing, documenting, and implementing operational processes and SOPs is required.
  • Familiarity with academic workflow management tools and systems, project management systems, and market intelligence tools is required.
  • Experience overseeing vendor relationships and managing contract renewals for third-party providers is preferred.
  • Experience facilitating training, onboarding sessions, or stakeholder orientation programs is preferred.
  • Experience with project management platforms as a super-user or advanced user, including template development, timeline tracking, and workflow configuration is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the process by which Deans and Chairs implement new and sunset underperforming programs across governance stages.
  • Guide faculty and departmental leaders on ASA’s program lifecycle processes, tools and resources.
  • Serve as the operational point of contact navigating the program development process and advising on timelines and submissions.
  • Track new program proposals through governance stages and manage launch/sunset checklists.
  • Establish and track KPIs for workflow effectiveness and coordination outcomes, and deliver regular progress reports.
