Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking a Program Manager, Data Centers to lead strategic and technically complex customer programs—from requirements and product development through validation, industrialization, and project execution.

You will serve as end-to-end program integrator across R&D, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and sales, aligning stakeholders, managing dependencies, and delivering repeatable solutions for the growing data-center market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline; advanced degree is a plus.
• Proven experience leading large, technically complex programs with multiple workstreams, dependencies, and cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the integrated program roadmap with milestones, deliverables, dependencies, priorities, resources and cross-functional execution.
• Lead program-level coordination with strategic data-center customers, managing requirements, commitments, technical clarifications, and changes throughout the program lifecycle.
• Translate evolving customer requirements into clear, executable plans for engineering, product development, manufacturing, supply chain, and project-execution teams.
• Coordinate technical interfaces, grid studies, modeling, simulation, validation, and testing activities as required by the program.
• Align R&D, engineering, product management, application engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, project management, sales, and commercial stakeholders around shared program objectives.
• Establish and maintain program governance, decision logs, escalation paths, risk controls, and concise management reporting.
• Provide visibility and control of program risks, dependencies, changes, decisions, customer commitments, and resource requirements.
• Identify critical-path dependencies and resource constraints, driving timely recovery actions and escalations when commitments are at risk.
• Coordinate the transition from prototypes to industrialization, customer projects, and repeatable deployment.
• Ensure customer requirements are baselined and assess impact of changes on scope, schedule, cost, and commitments.
• Facilitate timely engineering and program decisions by clarifying issues, identifying owners, and tracking actions to completion.
• Turn complex technical discussions into clear decisions, responsibilities, timelines and next steps for technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Support phase-gate readiness by coordinating completion, review, and acceptance of required technical and program deliverables.
• Incorporate lessons learned into future product releases and reusable program deliverables.
• Maintain an accurate and timely view of program status, schedule, resources, and readiness.
• Build customer confidence through transparent communication, strong governance, and proactive risk management.
