Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Program Manager for Data Centers to orchestrate complex customer programs from requirements through deployment. You will coordinate R&D, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial teams to deliver scalable data-center solutions.

The role requires strong leadership across global teams, robust program governance, and the ability to translate evolving customer needs into executable plans while managing risks and dependencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Power Systems, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Program Management, or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience leading large, technically complex programs with multiple workstreams and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience in power electronics, electrical engineering, power systems, energy storage, industrial automation, or data centers infrastructure.
• Strong program-planning capabilities including governance, risks, dependencies, and resource constraints.
• Ability to influence and align stakeholders across a global matrix without direct authority.
• Excellent executive-level communication and stakeholder management.
• Commercial awareness of how technical decisions impact cost, schedule, scope, and commitments.

Responsibilities

• Own the integrated program roadmap with milestones, deliverables, and cross-functional execution.
• Lead program coordination with data-center customers and internal teams for requirements and changes.
• Translate customer requirements into executable plans for engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain.
• Coordinate interfaces, studies, modeling, validation, and testing as required.
• Maintain governance, decision logs, escalation paths, and risk controls for the program.
• Ensure timely decisions and transition prototypes into industrial deployment.
• Maintain visibility of status, schedule, and resource outlook.
