Job summary

Hitachi Energy seeks a Senior Project Manager to deliver large-scale data center infrastructure projects across North America, ensuring reliability, resilience, and modernization of critical power systems.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, manage budgets from $10M to $50M+, coordinate with customers and partners, and drive schedule, safety, and contractual compliance using Primavera P6 and SAP-based controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with 10+ years of combined engineering and PM experience.
• 10+ years PM experience in power systems, grid automation, data centers, utilities, or EPC.
• Experience delivering projects valued at $15M+.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams of 30+ resources.
• PMP certification preferred; MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage large and complex data center infrastructure projects from contract award through final acceptance.
• Establish execution strategies, governance frameworks, communication plans, and stakeholder engagement approaches.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, testing, and field execution activities.
• Own project financial performance, including forecasting, cash flow management, revenue recognition, and margin protection.
• Oversee contract administration, change order management, claims resolution, and commercial negotiations.
