Job summary

ORC is seeking a seasoned Right of Way Program Manager to lead a portfolio of utility projects from a remote home office within the United States. You will guide project managers, balance schedules and budgets, and ensure strong client engagement across multiple states while delivering high-quality results.

The role is full-time, exempt, with minimal travel. The compensation ranges from $146,921 to $160,063 per year, reflecting experience and leadership; relocation is not provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of right of way experience with leadership across multiple projects.
• Experience directing project managers or large delivery teams.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite — Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• An iOS or Android smartphone to access ORC’s systems.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Direct a program of related utility right of way projects — aligning scope, schedules, budgets, and standards across the portfolio.
• Guide and support Project Managers, balancing resources and priorities across projects.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining frequent communication and building strong, long-term relationships through consistent engagement and day-to-day partnership.
• Own program-level reporting, forecasting, and financial performance.
• Establish and enforce consistent delivery standards, tools, and processes.
• Manage program risks and escalations before they reach the client.
• Partner with leadership on staffing plans and growth for the program.
