Job summary

Ivanhoe Electric seeks a Program Lead Planner to govern and guide integrated schedules across underground and surface projects. You will lead a team of planners, develop baselines, perform TIAs, and coordinate with engineering, cost, and project teams.

This on-site role at the Santa Cruz project office requires strong CPM/EVM knowledge, Primavera P6 mastery, and clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; PMI-SP / AACE PSP certification is a plus.
• Ten+ years scheduling experience on large-scale mining, heavy civil, or EPCM projects.
• Strong Primavera P6 proficiency including baseline management and cost/resource loading.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the integrated project schedule using Primavera P6 for engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Maintain the approved baseline schedule and support earned value reporting with Cost teams.
• Conduct regular schedule status updates with stakeholders and drive reforecasting to improve cost transparency.
• Perform TIAs and schedule risk analyses; provide recovery options to leadership.
• Collaborate with cost control to align schedule progress with earned value reporting and claims avoidance.
