Job summary

NATIONAL ALLIANCE ON MENTAL ILLNESS DELAWARE is seeking a Program Manager to lead statewide planning, development, and quality oversight of mental health programs and community initiatives across Delaware.

The role involves supervising interns and volunteers, coordinating with community partners, managing budgets and records, and evaluating outcomes for stakeholders; you will advocate for mental health policy and provide training and outreach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in program management or community outreach.
• Strong understanding of mental health issues and resources.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and implementation of mental health programs and initiatives.
• Collaborate with community partners to enhance program effectiveness and outreach.
• Manage program budgets and ensure compliance with funding requirements.
• Evaluate program outcomes and prepare reports for stakeholders.
• Lead training sessions and workshops to educate the community about mental health.
• Act as a liaison between NAMI Delaware and external organizations.
• Support advocacy efforts to promote mental health legislation and policies.
