Job summary

Kraton is hiring an IT Program Lead to define, deliver, and govern the enterprise data and analytics strategy across the organization. The role focuses on leading BI, data engineering, governance, and analytics platforms, transforming business data into trusted insights.

The position requires strong leadership of data platforms and a focus on scalable architectures, AI/ML enablement, and enterprise data products. The job is based at Kraton's The Woodlands HQ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/Engineering or related field is required.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• Certifications in Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Power BI or SAP Analytics are beneficial.
• Experience in enterprise data platforms, BI, and data governance is expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and operation of a modern data platform centered on Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure, and SAP technologies.
• Establish scalable architectures for analytics, AI/ML, and enterprise data products.
• Govern data quality, security, and metadata across the organization.
• Collaborate with EI teams to enable self-service analytics and executive reporting.

The IT Program Lead – Data & Analytics Platform is responsible for defining, delivering, and governing the enterprise data and analytics strategy across the organization. This role serves as the technology leader for enterprise reporting, business intelligence, data engineering, data governance, and analytics platforms, ensuring business data is transformed into trusted, governed, and actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

The position will lead the design, implementation, and operation of a modern enterprise data platform centered on Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure, SAP technologies, and enterprise application integrations. This includes establishing scalable architectures that enable analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), predictive analytics, executive reporting, self-service analytics, and enterprise data products.

Required Skills

Enterprise Data Platforms

• Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure Data Services, OneLake, Data Warehouses, Lakehouses, and modern cloud analytics platforms.
• Data engineering, ETL/ELT, data modeling, semantic modeling, and enterprise reporting architectures.

SAP & Enterprise Application Integration

• SAP ECC 6.0, SAP BW, SAP BPC, SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP HANA, and SAP data integration methodologies.
• Experience exposing SAP and enterprise application data to cloud analytics platforms and modern data architectures.

Data Governance & Security

• Data governance, metadata management, data quality, master data management, and information lifecycle management.
• Role-based access controls, row-level security, data segregation, privacy controls, compliance, and audit requirements.

Analytics & AI

• Enterprise reporting, business intelligence, predictive analytics, machine learning, AI enablement, and data-driven decision support.
• Experience implementing enterprise AI, data governance, and modern data platform initiatives.

Education, Certifications & Licenses

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related discipline.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Power BI, or SAP Analytics certifications.
