Job summary

Bergen Community College is seeking a Program Supervisor to oversee the Division of Continuing Education and Workforce Development. You will lead program development, staffing, scheduling, marketing, instructional quality, and student relations to ensure high‑quality delivery aligned with divisional goals.

Responsibilities include budget oversight, developing industry‑recognized credentials, course evaluations, and coordination of Kids and Teens programming.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in program development and coordination of non-credit courses including workforce training and Kids and Teens programming.
• Supervisory experience and background in working with community organizations and outreach programs preferred.
• Business experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of program development including budget, staff, instructional quality, and student relations.
• Identify, develop, and implement industry-recognized credential and certification programs.
• Develop and distribute marketing materials for programs.
• Prepare schedules for courses, workshops, and seminars.
• Assist with assessment of community needs and recommendations for educational and learning programs including Kids and Teens programming.
• Identify, recommend, and supervise instructional staff.
• Prepare, distribute, collect, and assess course evaluations and learning outcomes.
• Prepare, track, and monitor the annual budget.
