Job summary

Obsolete Site in Fort Sill, Oklahoma seeks a Team Leader for Child and Youth Services to guide staff delivering developmentally appropriate programs for ages 6 weeks to 18 years.

You will supervise lesson planning, ensure health and safety standards, train team members, and coordinate activities that support social, emotional, physical and cognitive growth.

This role requires compliance with immunization, background checks, and 18+ age, with occasional evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have two-page resume or less clearly demonstrating relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as pertains to this position.
• Must be 18 years of age, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
• Resume should demonstrate experience in group programs with children/youth and knowledge of child/youth development theories and principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to ensure developmental care and instruction for children/youth aged 6 weeks to 18 years in CYS programs.
• Ensure implementation of developmentally appropriate programs promoting growth across social, emotional, physical and cognitive domains.
• Instruct team members, provide written instructions, reference materials, and supplies.
• Develop, plan, and implement age-appropriate lesson plans, schedules, and activities based on observed needs and interests.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards (diapering, hand washing, cleaning, food service, safe sleep, care for ill children).
