Job summary

Obsolete Site seeks a dedicated childcare worker to provide developmentally appropriate care for children from 6 weeks to 18 years within our Child and Youth Services programs. You will supervise groups, ensure safety, and support curriculum-based activities and field trips.

The role requires strong English communication, a minimum 18 years of age, and the ability to manage various daily activities with children and youth, including attention to health, safety, and emergencies.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Provide developmental care and instruction for children and youth aged 6 weeks to 18 years.
• Supervise and ensure safety during routines, activities, field trips, and events.
• Assist in implementing developmentally appropriate activities and schedules.
• Support meal/snack arrangements.
• Identify and respond to emergencies and health needs.
