Boston Housing Authority (BHA) seeks a Program Analyst to perform quality control tasks, including verification of payments and review of owner program eligibility.

Under supervision, you will audit files, check income calculations, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. You will coordinate with landlords, tenants, and inspectors to resolve issues and support accurate payments.

Starting salary is $57,229.25 and the benefits package is generous.

Formación

• Minimum one year of experience in a low-income housing related field.
• Must possess the ability to make accurate computations and be highly organized.

Responsabilidades

• Conducts file audits to ensure program files comply with regulatory and policy requirements.
• Verifies that all relevant forms are complete and included in the tenant file and/or owner file.
• Reviews income calculations, deductions and family composition in each file and compares it with data in the system.
• Ensures that income and family composition have been verified in each file.
• Checks that the family has been assigned the correct apartment size, eligibility status and subsidies.
• Verifies payments to owners and other housing authorities as related to portability.
• Resolves issues of incorrect payment through direct contact with owners and housing authorities.
• Coordinates with staff to assure accurate payments on new leases and retroactive rent adjustments.
