Job summary

ITC Defense in Lexington Park, Maryland, is hiring a Program Financial Analyst to support the PMO with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and program control across multiple DoD contracts. The role partners with Program Managers and Corporate Finance to drive accurate reporting and strategic decision-making.

The position requires 3+ years in government contract finance, DoD contract experience, advanced Excel skills, and onsite presence at least three days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in program finance, project controls, FP&A, cost analysis, or government contract financial management.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience supporting DoD contracts or other federal government programs.
• Experience developing and managing budgets, forecasts, and EACs.
• Experience performing variance analysis and financial reporting within a government contracting environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and financial modeling.
• Active or Interim DoD Secret Clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain one.
• This position requires onsite work a minimum of three (3) days per week.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and analyze program budgets, forecasts, and EACs for multiple contracts and task orders.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial reports for leadership decision-making.
• Analyze actual costs vs. budgets and identify cost drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Perform financial modeling and scenario analysis to support strategic planning.
• Monitor contract funding, expenditures, burn rates, and funding limitations for compliance.
• Develop staffing projections and labor plans to support program requirements.
• Prepare EACs, revenue forecasts, and KPI dashboards for program leadership.
• Support monthly program reviews and executive briefings with financial data and trends.
