Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Roy, Utah is seeking a Program Excellence Senior Manager 3 to lead and shape cross-functional program performance on the Sentinel (GBSD) effort. This full-time role emphasizes governance, risk reduction, and training of world-class program managers, reporting to the SDS Program Excellence Director.

The role requires DoD security clearance, travel up to 25%, and a strong track record in program execution, earned value, and executive briefings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree with 8 years of program management experience or Masters degree and 6 years of experience or an additional 4 years in lieu of degree.
• Experience in program execution, earned value management, change management, risk management, and stakeholder management
• Experience managing projects / programs across with different customers across multiple phases of the program life cycle
• Experience briefing executives and managing expectations
• ability to travel up to 25% per month.
• Must have an active a U.S. Government DoD security clearance and ability to obtain Special Access Program (SAP)

Responsibilities

• Transform and drive program execution rigor to enable sustainable, profitable growth and consistently execute commitments.
• Mitigate current and near-term programmatic risk while building long-term program excellence capability and culture.
• Develop world-class program managers by investing in tools, processes, knowledge, and skill building enabling results-driven decision-making.
• Operate as Independent oversight with implementation authority & process accountability.
• Develop and execute program manager evaluation and training programs spanning CAMs to senior director levels
• Support Sector initiatives and manage Sector Operating Goals
• Oversee IPRS (Intranet Program Review System) reporting on program performance, provide supporting data, and report on related corrective actions for SDS programs
