Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manager Software Engineering 2 for the NGSP Sentinel Program in Roy, UT. This full-time role leads software teams responsible for real-time data capture, test tool development, and lifecycle support across multiple environments.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in software development with SDLC and Agile practices, strong leadership, and the ability to coordinate with stakeholders, manage resources, and ensure on-time delivery within budget.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance is required at time of application.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with multi-year related experience and strong software development background.
• Experience with SDLC and Agile software development; ability to lead multi-team efforts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development of software instrumentation suite for real-time data capture during test events.
• Develop test tool capabilities for system-level test planning, integration, and execution across environments.
• Ensure tools and software meet NG and program requirements; document software specs and verification methods.
• Participate in planning, system integration, verification, validation, cost/risk analyses, and supportability assessments.
• Interface with internal/external customers and apply EVMS metrics to ensure timely, budget-aligned delivery.
