Job summary

Amentum seeks a Program Engineer - Test Planning in West Palm Beach, FL to support AUTEC. You will coordinate testing, plan programs, and manage assets with NUWC and Navy personnel, ensuring compliance with safety, scheduling, and documentation requirements.

The role requires five years of project or program management experience in test/range operations, strong communication, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Travel up to 30 days and eligibility for U.S.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in science, business, project management or equivalent.
• Five years of project or program management experience preferably in direct support of Test and Range operations.
• Advanced written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and customer-relations abilities.

Responsibilities

• Be the point of contact to NUWC, US Navy, and contractor personnel for planning and conducting testing on AUTEC ranges.
• Evaluate test support requirements and define capabilities or resources needed.
• Manage costs and provide guidance related to test support and projects.
• Coordinate shore facilities, test assets, shipping, hazmat handling, and post-test recovery.
• Schedule contractor assets and ensure commitments are met.
• Create and post operational documents communicating test support requirements.
• Maintain and update test support documents in response to schedule changes.
• Develop and maintain standing test plans for ongoing programs.
• Travel to conferences or events as required.
• Possess or obtain DoD clearance and travel as needed.
