Job summary

Astrion seeks a Software Test Engineer - Mid-Level for the TGAD TMAS 2 96 CTG Task Order, located at Maxwell AFB Gunter Annex, AL. The role requires a SECRET clearance and entails planning, executing, and reporting developmental tests across multiple applications and systems.

Responsibilities include supporting TEMP and test plans, ensuring testable requirements, and employing test automation. Some travel (<10%) and possible extended hours are expected to meet mission needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3–10 years of applicable experience.
• Must be able to acquire a SECRET security clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.
• Experience with manual testing.
• Ability to lead and direct the work of others within a team.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and report developmental test and evaluation for War Planning portfolio.
• Respond to questions and issues of critical importance to the customer.
• Support creation of TEMP, test team charters, and test plans and reports.
• Ensure system requirements are testable and define performance measures.
• Use test automation tools and performance testing utilities.
• Identify deficiencies, document findings, and participate in reviews.
• Prepare and analyze testing objectives, plans, procedures, and metrics.
