Job summary

Amentum in West Palm Beach, FL seeks an FORACS Electronics Engineer - Test Section to support sensor accuracy testing on U.S. and NATO surface ships, submarines and helicopters for AUTEC FORACS. You will coordinate testing with shipboard personnel and analyze data to confirm sensor performance.

Required: BS in engineering or science; 6 years RDT&E or 10 years in lieu of degree; ability to deploy to sea; U.S. passport, driver's license, and Secret clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering, technology or science.
• Six years of RDT&E or similar experience.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Secret clearance.
• Ability to deploy to sea and travel 25–50%.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and passport.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Support testing of installed sensors on surface ships, submarines and helicopters.
• Analyze data and produce reports.
• Supervise sensor testing in real-time test environments.
• Install and operate data collection systems.
• Interface with naval personnel.
