Job summary

Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. is seeking a Program Director in Los Angeles to oversee the LA County Program, managing daily operations and ensuring high-quality service delivery to youth and families.

The role requires leading staff, managing budgets, maintaining contractual compliance, and developing plans for discharge with community linkages after service termination. Exempt, full-time, with a salary around $85,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred in related field.
• Bachelor's degree with commensurate experience required.
• Minimum 3 years in youth services or community-based programs.
• 1+ year in supervisory or program management role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience with EHR systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee intake, assessment, and development of individualized service plans.
• Monitor service delivery and ensure alignment with goals and contracts.
• Cultivate relationships with referral sources and community partners.
• Recruit, train, and supervise direct service and administrative staff.
• Lead staff development, training sessions, and team meetings.
• Ensure timely submission of reports, billing, and documentation.
• Manage the local program within budget parameters.
• Identify opportunities for program growth and innovation.
