Job summary

CHR is seeking a Program Director for the Credible Messenger program in Hartford, CT. This on-site role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with a Monday–Friday 9:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule.

Based in Hartford, the Program Director will provide direction to the team, oversee service delivery, and ensure compliance with program standards and funding requirements. Applicants should have at least 3 years in the target population and supervisory experience in behavioral health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred but relevant life experience can count with CSSD waiver.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience working with identified population; two years of supervisory experience in a behavioral health setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direction and leadership within the Team.
• Ensures clients receive services that are focused on presenting problems and clients’ requests for treatment.
• Directs crisis intervention efforts and intervenes as required.
• Monitors client meetings, admission, continued stay and discharge criteria.
• Reviews caseloads regularly to ensure appropriate utilization of services.
• Oversees hiring, training, and performance management of staff within the program.
• Participates in internal and external meetings as needed by program and agency.
• Ensures client, program and agency documentation is completed in a timely manner and according to program, agency, funder and accreditation/licensing standards.
