Community Health Resources in Hartford, CT seeks a Program Director for the Credible Messenger program. This Full-Time role leads a multidisciplinary team, oversees service delivery, and ensures compliance with funders and licensing standards.

You will manage staff, budgets, and quality-improvement initiatives, collaborating with partners to promote engagement and timely access to services for youth and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience; 2 years supervisory experience in behavioral health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direction and leadership within the Team.
• Ensures clients receive services aligned with treatment needs.
• Directs crisis intervention when required.
• Monitors meetings, admission, discharge criteria.
• Reviews caseloads for appropriate service utilization.
• Oversees hiring, training, and performance management.
• Facilitates team meetings and internal/external meetings.
• Ensures timely documentation per standards.
• Acts as primary point person and provides back-up coverage.
• Maintains program vehicles and equipment as applicable.
• Collaborates across teams to improve quality and efficiency.
• Ensures timely completion of reports and audits.
• Oversees insurance authorizations for services.
