Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central and Northern New Hampshire is seeking a Program Director to oversee the delivery of a wide range of school-age and summer programs. You will plan, develop, and implement programs where coverage is needed, ensuring safety and alignment with organizational goals.

You will lead staff and volunteers, manage budgets, monitor outcomes, and maintain records to support high-quality youth services across a large service area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education preferred.
• Associate degree in child development, education, recreation, or related field desired.
• Experience with children totaling 2000 hours or more; relevant certifications may apply.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate administration of designated programs and activities in alignment with organizational goals and mission.
• Develop program goals and settings to ensure health and safety of members and staff.
• Oversee day-to-day program activities and ensure licensing requirements are met.
• Empower youth to participate in diverse program areas and provide instruction and feedback.
• Demonstrate leadership to ensure safe conduct and development of members.
• Establish and maintain program goals; monitor outcomes and diversity needs.
• Manage program expenditures within approved budgets.
• Supervise volunteers and staff with ongoing feedback and development.
• Maintain records and weekly reports of activities and participation.
• Increase visibility of programs via schedules and communications.
