Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central and Northern New Hampshire is seeking a Program Director to oversee a broad range of school-age and summer camp programs. You will plan, develop, and implement services across a large geographic area with a focus on safety and high-quality youth development.

You will supervise staff and volunteers, manage program expenditures within the approved budget, and ensure compliance with licensing and organizational standards.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 20 years of age for a school-age program director and a high school diploma or equivalent including GED/HiSet/TASC.
• A minimum of one of the listed educational or experience pathways is required (e.g., associate degree or specified certifications/credits).
• Background checks and zero-tolerance for child abuse are required as part of the job expectations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates administration of designated programs and activities to align with Youth Development Outcomes and organizational goals.
• Develops program goals and safety standards; ensures program areas are safe and well-maintained.
• Oversees day-to-day program activities per Boys & Girls Club standards and licensing requirements.
• Empowers youth through instruction and feedback to develop skills; demonstrates leadership for safety and conduct.
• Establishes and maintains program goals; evaluates programs, tracks outcomes, and ensures diversity awareness.
